May 29, 2009 – Day 149
We have some unattractive bare patches on our lawn in the backyard. Ken dug up the top few inches of a couple of the worst of the bare patches and filled them in with topsoil this afternoon. He’ll prepare more of the patches and then plant grass seed. I’m looking forward to our lawn looking better once the new grass grows in.

Wow, look at how red Ken's back is, I sure hope that he was wearing some sun screen! I'm sure that you're lawn will look fantastic once this seed grows!
ReplyDeleteHe was out there laying in the sun trying to get a tan before the yard work so he didn't have sunscreen on so, ya, he got burned.
ReplyDeleteI've got some patches I have to fill in as well. It's the area where our dog pees during the winter so it's probably a futile effort. I think we may make a stonework patio there one day though.
