A Thing of Beauty

May 27, 2009 – Day 147

On my walk to the new temporary bus stop I pass by these beautiful vibrant flowers planted in a flowerbed on the lawn in front of someone’s house. In this case, I thought it would be too weird for me to “stop and smell the flowers” - but I did slow down to admire them and take this shot for my picture of the day.

    Wow, beautiful! I am jealous, I just put seeds on the ground yesterday and the flowerbed here sure doesn't look like that! lol

    Tulips..right? And what are the purple ones I wonder? They sure do look awesome and fantastic photo!

    Thanks Darlene (about the photo part). :-) Yes, the red and yellow ones are tulips. I have no idea either what the bluish purple ones are either.

    Ok, now I really want to do my flowers! This weekend for sure. I cannot believe how vibrant these flowers are; this is just a beautiful picture!
