May 23, 2009 – Day 143Today was one of those days when it was hard to choose only one picture for Project 365.
I planted my flowers, Ken put the top on the gazebo, and we had our first backyard fire of the season – all indications that winter must surely (finally?) be over and summer is right around the corner!
I can take a picture of my flowers another day and we’ll have more fires, so I chose one of the pictures of Ken putting the top on the gazebo.
Looking good!
ReplyDeleteThose Gazebo's are a great idea. Especially if you backyard faces east like yours does (I think it does anyway).
ReplyDeleteIt faces west but the "curtains" help when the sun is low and hot on summer afternoons. Ken didn't put them up yet but he (or we) will do that sometime soon. I might have to recover from planting the flowers first though. :-) Planting the flowers wouldn't have been so bad, it was getting that sod out of that strip that was the real workout.
