July 15, 2009 - Day 196Ken mowed the lawn this evening. It’s nice and lush after the work he’s put into it this year: he planted grass seed in the bare spots, waters it often and regularly, fertilizes it and pulls the weeds (and their roots) that try to sneak in.
The lawn is looking great. I love the smell and look of a fresh cut lawn, just not the work that goes into it ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the smell too and it's perfect because I never have to mow the lawn. I can't even remember how many years it's been since I've mowed a lawn...maybe 20 or 30 years!

ReplyDeleteI don't mind cutting the grass. I would rather cut the grass than clean or cook!
