July 8, 2009 - Day 189We’ve been getting some much needed rain over the last couple of days. Home always feels extra-cozy to me when it’s raining. It came down pretty good off and on this evening and during one of the downpours, I had this idea for my picture of the day.
I guess it's too little too late for the ducks at the pond just north of us though; Ken said they've all left. I imagine some of them had to leave their eggs behind. That makes me so sad.
We sure did need the rain and now everything is turning green again.
