October 31, 2009 – Day 304We had our first trick-or-treater at 5:50 p.m. There weren’t many kids after about 7:30 so I turned off the lights at 8:15 and watched a movie with Ken. We had 71 kids and about ¾ of my treats were used up. It was fun to hand out treats. I don’t even mind when “big” kids come by – the way I think of it is that you only get one childhood so you might as well enjoy it as long as you can.
We only had 55 kids which is a little disappointing. It seems to be getting less and less each year. Oh well, it was fun giving out to the kids who did show up.
